2. What color do you want the second piece of leather to be engraved on? Purple 

**  the other idea I had, because the recipient loves halloween and magic, was a black cover with a rich purple second piece for the engraving.  But I can't visualize that.  Maybe you have done one in that color combo before.  I would be fine with that too.  Also with the black lace unless you have another idea that would look even better with that color combination.
